I met Dr. Weiss when I was in high school in the late 1960's and spent a great deal of time talking with her. She wrote to me when I went away to college in 1971. I thoroughly enjoyed her and had the utmost respect for her. When I saw her name and photo in the paper a few minutes ago, I felt warm fondness and positive vibes. I have often thought of her when I drive past where she used to live. My condolences go out to the family as you grieve this loss. You were so lucky to have her.

I cannot even find the most appropriate words to define what an amazing psychiatrist and caring soul she was. She took me under her care when I was young, suffering anxiety/panic attacks/agoraphobia and an emotionally distressing marriage. With her medical knowledge, infinite way of understanding and sharing her caring soul, I was able to overcome this horrible illness, believe in myself & my strengths and walk away from my marriage. I've maintained success in my life, both financially and personally and attribute this all to her! A true gift to my life and beautiful woman.
