My sister, Dolores spent her entire life caring for others. She opened her heart, opened her arms and her home in caring for those she loved. Her Father (Joseph) was stricken with cancer in his early fifties and she was his primary caregiver taking care of him in our home. At that time Dolores was a practical nurse working at the Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia. After marrying Gene and raising her children David and Lisa, she continued her nursing career at various hospitals and nursing homes in the Riverside and Delran area. When her mother, Natalie fell into ill health and required care, again she reach out to take her into her home to care for her, with all her love and compassion, until such time that Natalie required 24/7 care at St Mary's Home in Cherry Hill. A few years later, her sister Dolly was stricken with cancer and lived with Gene & Dolores while receiving treatment at local area hospitals as well as Sloan-Kettering.
Dolores was always there for her children David and Lisa hen they needed her love, compassion, understanding and support, as well as raising her granddaughter Faith.
Dolores and Gene looked forward to the day , when Faith graduated from College, but they were to ill to attend the commencement service. Dolores was the focal point of her family, with everyone relying on her to be there in time of need.
Now she has gone to God, her savior, for a well needed rest after a fulfilling life of serving her family and those in need. Whether it be family, friends or patients.
May God receive her soul in glory, thanks be to God.
Her loving brother, Joseph Rydzewski
