William Pinto

William Pinto, 63, of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Michael and Rita Pinto, William lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family. He was the devoted husband of Darlene Pinto (née Aguilar), sharing nearly 40 years of marriage. Together, they raised three beloved sons: Bill Pinto (Veronica), Joe Pinto (Jodi), and Chris Pinto. William was excitedly awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild, bringing new joy into the family. He was a loving brother to Robert Pinto (Tracy), Janice DiGialleonardo (John), and the late Michael Pinto. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends. A longtime resident of Delran, William took great pride in raising his family in the community he loved. His family was his world, and he dedicated himself to supporting his children, including years spent coaching them in Pop Warner football. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and had a special tradition of enjoying Corona in the summer and Heineken in the winter. William was known for his love of good food, especially pizza and lasagna, and his passion for spending time at the shore, particularly in Ocean City and Atlantic City. He also had a mischievous streak, often pulling playful pranks on his family, especially while swimming at home. Whether riding his bike or watching his favorite Italian movies—The Godfather being a particular favorite—he enjoyed an active and full life. His beloved Scottish Terriers, Bella and Lucia, will miss him dearly, especially their playful habit of taking treats directly from his mouth. Family and friends are invited to celebrate William’s life at Givnish Funeral Home of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Thursday, October 24th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, October 25th, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. A memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name in Delran.
