Darrell Glenn DeWitt, Jr., of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on May 1, 2022. Born on July 8, 1947 in Oakland, Maryland to the late Darrell and Mary (Wolf) DeWitt, he was 74 years old. Darrell was the beloved husband of the late Beverly DeWitt (nee Holladay) for 41 years before her passing in 2009; loving father of Kimberly Shaffer and her husband Joe of Parrottsville, TN, and Darrell DeWitt III and his wife Kimberly of Cinnaminson, NJ; cherished grandfather of Austin Shaffer of Knoxville, TN, Kaitlin Shaffer of Maryville, TN, and Alexa DeWitt of Cinnaminson, NJ; dear brother of Carol Scheimreif and her husband John, Sandra Drayton and her husband Harry, and the late Richard DeWitt and his wife Patricia. Darrell is survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Darrell proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, touring as a member of the Signal Company. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial committal ceremony on Thursday, May 5th, at 2 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park, Mausoleum by the lake, 1300 Route 130 North in Cinnaminson, where Darrell will be laid to rest with his beloved Beverly.
