Emma LeFebre (nee D’Agostino) passed away peacefully two days before her 103rd birthday. She was born and raised in Gibbstown, N.J. and was a resident of Cinnaminson for 65 years. She was the wife of the late Dr. & LTC Arturo P. LeFebre, USA (Retired). Emmy is survived by many nieces and nephews who will always remember her kindness, generosity, and devotion to family. She was blessed to have been surrounded by wonderful neighbors and caregivers who supported her. She assisted her spouse, an oral surgeon, at the Philadelphia General Hospital, Abington Memorial Hospital, Rolling Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, and at their residence when the dental practice was established there. Emmy was actively involved in a number of organizations: Covenant Chapter 108 of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as chaplain, conductress, marshal, sentinel, and flag bearer, the Martha Circle at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Deborah Riverfront Chapter, the Porch Club, and the South Jersey and Burlington County Singles at the Stardust Ballroom. Dancing and good music were two of her many passions. She was the perfect hostess and excelled in her gracious hospitality toward family, friends, and visitors from around the world. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held Friday, January 21 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at 10:00 and a memorial service will follow at 11:00.
