June 15, 1935 - May 8, 2022
Ruth Jurimas Wentworth (nee Lipinsky), 86, loved her Jesus and wanted others to love Him too. This past Sunday, Mother’s day, May 8, 2022, Ruth received the best gift ever…seeing her Savior face to face. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dear wife to the late Frederick Paul Jurimas Sr. and the late James Paul Wentworth. Loving mother to Frederick Jurimas, Robert Jurimas (Beth), Edward Jurimas (Debbie), Joy Cannatella (Chris) and Faith Baker (Colin). Beloved Mom Mom to Phallon, Noelle, Troy (Anastasia), Eddie Jr. (Tess), Ashley (Steve), Brianna Ruth (Ryan), Sarah, Lydia, Sabrina and Clarissa. Great Mom Mom to Ella, Gabriel, Eliyanah, Charlie Ann, Oliver, James, Benjamin and Levi. Ruth survived all 6 of her siblings. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ruth loved the outdoors and could be found hanging wash or tending to her many flower gardens. She was an avid game player and loved reading. Ruth was very active in her community and lived out the commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself.” She cared and loved many family members throughout the years and was always willing to serve the least of these. She cared for the sick as a home health aid for eleven years. She was a member of the Riverside Historical Society, the Delran Seniors and the Senior Adult Group at Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford. Ruth put her trust in Jesus at a young age and it became the foundation of her life. Her well worn Bible showed her dedication to her faith and she also was a faithful prayer warrior. She was a self taught pianist, using her talent at the Park Community Church. She also taught Sunday school, was a youth group leader and served in many women’s ministries. She had the gift of hospitality and loved a full house; making sure no one was ever left out. The more the merrier! She was a founding member of the “Famous Club” an exclusive South Jersey members only ladies social group with friendships that have lasted for more than fifty five years. Her laughter, love and Godly wisdom will be greatly missed but her legacy will continue to live on. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, May 13th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 10:30-12:00pm, with her funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to America’s Keswick, https://americaskeswick.org/, 601 Route 530, Whiting, New Jersey, 08759.
