    William A. Hafner

    June 22, 1964 - January 4, 2022

    William "Bill" Hafner passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence in Moorestown. Born in Cinnaminson to Arthur B. and Grace E. Hafner, Bill was 57 years old. Bill was a resident of Moorestown and formerly lived in Cinnaminson. After graduating from Cinnaminson High School, he went on to study computer science and music at The University of Dayton, where he graduated. He landed his first job as a software specialist with Burlington County and after furthering his career in the private sector, returned to the county where he was employed upon his passing. Bill had many interests and passions, serving as a volunteer with the Lenola Fire Department for over 30 years and the Palmyra Ambulance Squad, was certified as a scuba diving instructor, traveling worldwide, and playing the saxophone as a member of the Mummers. Not to be forgotten, Bill also achieved the honor of becoming an Eagle scout. Bill is predeceased by his father Art Hafner. He is survived by his mother, Grace Hafner; his sisters; Cathy Boatwright, Pamela Bauman, Susan Wellington and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lenola Fire Department. Family will be accepting visitors on February 10th at 6 PM at the Givnish Funeral Home in Cinnaminson N.J., followed by services at 7 PM.
