So very sorry to hear of Chris's passing. My sister mentioned it to me this evening, and I remembered Chris from my childhood. He and I were in the first class that started at Cranberry Pines Elementary School (3rd grade). He was a sweet kid and it looks like he never lost that warm smile. The tribute video was beautiful. It was great to get a glimpse at how many lives Chris touched, and how loved he was.

As everyone else has mentioned, Chris and his spirit are one of a kind.....I remember moving back to NJ from living in Adak, Alaska and Sandpoint, Idaho prior to Alaska; regardless, I had no care for designer clothes or knew what a Nike was and was naturally bullied and teased....like what school used to be like!!
But there was Chris...after being rolled around and tormented by the usual suspects, Chris was always there to pick me up and brush me off....and tell me "you'll get'em next time buddy"!!

I grew up with Chris in the Tamarac development in Medford, NJ. We were neighbors and friends. We both had an interest in dirt bikes from a young age. I moved away from dirt bikes after college but Chris re-introduced dirt bikes when I was was in my early 30's. Since then, I have been passionate about riding in the woods and doing amatuer competions. Thank you Chris for helping me with my passion. I am so thankful that I am your friend. I will miss you but will cherish the moments we had together. Your friend.
