My name is Emily Mann and I'm a former Riverton student. Mr. Leven was the kindest, funniest, and most interesting teacher I've ever had. He taught Lit at Riverton while I was there, he'd also previously taught both of my brothers, but always referred to me as his favorite. He taught me so much of what I know about literature and helped me to develop a lifelong love of reading that I've carried with me to this very day. I was so devastated to hear of his passing months too late from a friend yesterday. It almost doesn't feel real. I hope that all of his family are healing and taking comfort in the beautiful memories I'm certain they have of him.

Ernie, you were my best friend and big brother. He raised me in my twenties. He helped jump start my career. We spent years together in and out of the gym. I miss you, buddy.
