Adrienne Gable McCauley (nee Urban), of Medford, passed away on October 25th, 2023. She was 89. Born in Teaneck, NJ, on January 18th, 1934, to the late Alfred Anthony Urban and the late Margaret Violet Urban (nee Gable). Loving mother to Linda and Edward, and loving grandmother of Eleanor Adrienne Mack, Stephen Edward Mack, and Erin McCauley. Cherished sister to Diana and Elizabeth, aunt to Christine and Patricia.
Ms. McCauley was a graduate of St. John’s University (bachelor’s degree) and Rowan University (master’s degree). She spent her professional career in elementary public schools in New York and New Jersey as a teacher, including of first graders as well as students identified as gifted and talented, and also as an administrator. In her retirement, she enjoyed listening to live music, especially the Philadelphia Orchestra, and was a supporter of the Academy of Vocal Arts. She also liked gardening, travel, cooking, and attending gatherings of the “Red Hat Ladies”. She loved animals, especially cats and birds, and being outdoors.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing Tuesday evening, November 7th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Givnish Funeral Home in Marlton, NJ. Located at 398 E Main Street, Marlton, NJ, 08053. There will be a funeral mass held the following day at 10:30 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton. Located at 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ, 08053. Burial will take place at later date.
