Al Vallen's Obituary
Vallen, Albert, age 74 passed away on November 28, 2012 in his home in Maple Shade, NJ. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Theresa (Hampton) Vallen with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Son of the late Albert and Margaret Vallen, brother of the late David Vallen and Robert Vallen of Maple Shade, NJ. Albert was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and worked for Rohm and Haas chemical company for 42 years and for UMDNJ, Camden ambulance service for over 20 years. He was a life member for Maple Shade First Aid Squad for over 35 years. Devoted father of his eight children Michael Vallen of Downingtown, PA, Margaret Vallen of Hingham MA, Robert Vallen of Maple Shade, NJ, Kathleen Taylor of Maple Shade, NJ, Albert Vallen of Maple Shade, NJ, Kevin Vallen of Marlton, NJ, Daniel Vallen of Maple Shade, NJ and Thomas Vallen of Maple Shade, NJ. Adored by nineteen grandchildren who will miss him dearly: Katie, Tommy, Kristie Taylor, Kristen , Michael, Lindsay and Jack Vallen, Shea and Sammie Vallen, Matthew and Allison Vallen, Nicole and Ryan Vallen, Katherine and Kristen Mashikian, Danny, Madison, Patrick and Sean Vallen. Al took great pride and enjoyment in raising his eight children and watching his grandchildren grow. Relatives and Friends are invited to Al?s Life Celebration Gathering at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main St on Saturday December 1, 2012 from 10:00 ? 12:00 p.m. followed by his Life Celebration Service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Al?s memory may be sent to New Jersey Special Olympics L.A.R.T. 3 Princess Rd Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648.
