Albert A. Biasini's Obituary
Albert A. Biasini passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 99. Born in Philadelphia to Albert and Adeline Biasini. Al was born and raised in North Philadelphia (Swampoodle). After marrying Mary, he resided in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.
Beloved husband for 65 years to the late Mary A. Biasini (nee Devlin), Al was the loving father of Sharonmarie Biasini (the late Michael White) and John Biasini (Donna). He was the cherished grandfather of Stephen Biasini (Kendra) and Brian Biasini (Jon Stone) and the proud great-grandfather of John Albert, James Michael, and Patrick Stephen. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Al proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Following his service, he started working in roofing as an independent roofer. In the early 1960s, he joined Local 30 and did commercial roofing for A.F. Callan. He rose to the position of outside superintendent. He was a loyal and productive member of this organization. In the early 1980s, he purchased A.F. Callan. As President, he worked diligently and built a reputation for his integrity and craftsmanship. He was the first one in and the last one to leave the office each day. He retired at the age of 82.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Martha Church, 11301 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Al’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.
