Albert J. Groff Jr.'s Obituary
Albert J. Groff, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Born in Camden to Albert and Doris Groff, Al was 59 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson and formerly lived in Palmyra. Loving father to Nadine (Dan) Doerr and Albert J. (Kayla) Groff, III. Cherished grandfather of Evan Reed and Ethan Doerr.
Dear brother of the late Gail (David) Riley, Roseanna (Robert) Troyer, Lizzell (Brian) Scalise, Alva (Michael) Pons, and Luke E. Groff. Dear stepson of the late Frances Moriarty and step-sibling of Pat Moriarty and late Michael Moriarty.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Al shared a lifelong relationship with Nancy Diem.
Al was employed as a carpet installer for Family Carpets of NJ.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and woodworking. He often shared his love of music and grilling with friends and family. He was an animal lover and could always be found with either Roxy, Ella or Buddy following close behind.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
Albert’s Memorial Service will follow at 12 p.m.
