Albert J. Groff Sr.'s Obituary
Albert J. Groff, Sr. passed away peacefully on December 21, 2015 at his daughter's residence in Cinnaminson surrounded by all his children. Born in Camden, Al was 84 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Cinnaminson. Al was employed as a truck driver of the Fuller Brush Company in Hartford, CT. He also was a self-employed contractor for many years.
Al enjoyed country music, dancing, cooking, wood working and was a member of the Delran Junior Marksman Club. Al especially enjoyed being with his family and his favorite dog, Baby Girl Bella Rylee. Al proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Beloved husband to the late Doris Groff and Frances Moriarty.
Loving father of the late Gail (David) Riley, Rosanna (Robert) Troyer, Lizzell (Brian) Scalise, Alva (Michael) Pons, Albert J. Groff, Jr. (Patty) and Luke E. Groff. Grandfather of Michael, Grant, Kevin, Nadine (Dan), Tyler (Amanda), Chandler, Frankie, Albert, III and Leah. Great grandfather of Evan, Ethan and Baby Tyler, Jr. Brother of Gertrude Groff.
Also surviving are step-children, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Al's life celebration and viewing Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Service will follow 12 noon at the Central Baptist Church 514 Maple Ave. Palmyra, NJ. 08065.
Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
