Offering my sincere condolences to the family of Alexa. I worked with Alex almost 2 years. She hired me after a detail in 2015. She was a mighty giant in my eyes. I enjoyed working for her. Once I left we chatted periodically via instant message and FB. I have a wig that I told her I was going to name Alexa that she liked because she said she liked it, but was to short to wear. I will always remember her hiring me from the Northeast Region. Rest well Alexa

I worked with Alexa for over 15 years and the past five I served as her Deputy. It was an honor to work with her. She taught me so much and we became great friends. We talked practically every day. Alexa was so smart and kind. Hugest heart. She would tell me about this book she just read. It was always interesting to hear her perspective. I learned a ton. I feel you behind all of us Alexa. You are truly missed. We carry on, but not without constant thoughts of you. To Barbara and Nikki how she loved to talk about you and how she cared so deeply for you and the entire family. I am thinking about you both. And Alexa's NPS family is here for you. We were all so blessed to have her in our lives. May you rest in peace my friend and colleague.

We all loved Alexa and loved working with her. She had a leadership heart and soul. She helped many learn and grow. She loved working with the field of the NPS and helping folks solve big issues. She did not suffer fools!
She gave so much to so many. Its hard to imagine the region and Service without her now. Condolences to her family from the NPS family that was fortunate to have her for so many years.

This is simply heartbreaking! Sending my deepest sympathies to Alexa’s Family and Friends. I’m another regional comptroller, now in Omaha. I first met Alexa when I started with the National Park Service in Anchorage in 1989. She was insanely smart and so willing to share her knowledge with me. I enjoyed seeing her at various meetings over the years. I will her miss her laughter, kind heart, and overall caring personality. Cancer truly sucks!
To Alexa's family and her NPS family at the Northeast Regional Office: I have worked with Alexa since I first began in the Park Service over 17 years ago. As a newbie working with Regional Offices in my role in the Washington Budget Office, I was struck by how easy it was to work with Alexa. She is one of those people who knows her stuff but is also so down-to-earth and kind. I know her family and the people in her office are reeling from this loss. We all loved working with you, Alexa. My sincere condolences to Alexa's family. Alexa and I were NPS regional comptrollers, she in Philadelphia and I in Denver. We spent time together annually for several years while at AOC for fiscal year close. Alexa was my "call a friend" colleague. She was a kind and thoughtful friend. I will miss her!
My friend is gone on now. Alexa and I were NPS comptrollers together, she in Philly and I in Atlanta. The first time I physically met her was when I was in Philadelphia to clean out my grandmother's home in West Phlly. After four days of cleaning and clearing out stuff, my sister and I finished the job. That afternoon I decided to go to downtown and find the NER Office and meet Alexa, if she was in. The security folks directed me to the floor where the NPS was and I walked in an office and asked to speak to Alexa Molnar. Based on the calls we shared either as team or individually, i was expecting this massive woman, but boy was I surprised. She loved the NPS and the work she did for the region. I first met Alexa back in 1971 my first day with the NPS. I retired 42 years later. Through the later years I worked for Alexa. She was not only a co-worker but also a friend. My condolences to her entire family. She will be missed. Prayers for the family. May Alexa Rest in Peace. 🙏❤️🙏
