Alfred M. Davis' Obituary
Alfred “Al” M. Davis of Moorestown died on February 1, 2014. He was 98. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara, his sons, Ross and Paul, his daughter-in-law, Nageeba, and four grandchildren.
Al was the founder and president of IMCO, Inc., in Moorestown, NJ. He retired in 2001 to spend more time on the golf course and around the bridge table at Riverton Country Club, where he was a member for sixty years. He also enjoyed traveling, skiing and camping, and in his youth, he was an Eagle Scout and an amateur boxer.
Al’s children will remember him for his charm, his intelligence, his mischievous wit, and his sense of honor. He believed in family, hard work, and loyalty to friends. His wife of sixty-seven years, Betty, who predeceased him in 2010, called him her champ. It was a fitting description of a man who, despite any obstacle he faced, never lost his resilience or his sense of humor.
Al will be buried at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. The interment will be private and held at the family's convenience.
