Sharing Alfred’s Spiritual side, he was involved in the Charismatic Renewal with Brother Pancratius in the 70’s, he shared Praying in Tongues and Contemplative Prayer. During Catholic Mass he volunteered as an usher and loved to receive the Eucharist. Fifteen hours before he passed, he saw St Anthony standing at his beside, Alfred said to my husband, with a big smile, “St Anthony of Padua is a good man to have next to my bed!”
