Alice G. Furia's Obituary
Alice G. Furia (nee Wolfinger) passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly surrounded by her children. Born in Philadelphia, Alice was 83 years old. She was a resident of Delran since 1972. Beloved wife of the late Theodore A. Furia. Loving mother of Darlene Kozlowski, Bill Furia and Melody (David) Cate. Grandmother of Jennifer, Justin and Kristin.
Alice was the retired Administrator and Commissioner for the Burlington County Board of Elections. Alice was the Co-chair of the Burlington County Democratic Party.
Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and Valentine, her feline friend.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Health Care & Hospice 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 and/or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
