Alice McAllister Lang's Obituary
Alice McAllister Lang passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024 at Medford Leas in Medford, NJ, at the age of 91 years.
She was born in Camden, NJ on February 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca (Reba) McAllister of Audubon, NJ, where she grew up. Alice graduated from Audubon High School in 1950 and received a teaching degree from Glassboro State College in 1954. Alice was a highly respected teacher for 35 years in New Jersey and was honored with Teacher of the Year during a career that she loved.
A lifetime Presbyterian, Alice enjoyed singing in the church choir, getting together with friends for dinner, traveling, reading novels, but mostly spending time with her family.
Alice leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rebecca (the late William) Smith of Loveland, CO, David (Gwen) of Poland, OH and Patricia (John) Mayer of Cinnaminson, NJ. Her beloved grandchildren Natalie (fiancé Josh) and Phillip Smith, Megan (Tyler) Foxwell, Kevin (Suzanne) Lang, Alexandra (Michael) Giampapa, Tyler and Nathan Mayer, and Jessica (Dylan) Tooher. Her beloved great-grandchildren Finn & Lily Foxwell, Leo & Franklin Lang and Violet & Lina Giampapa.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harris T. Lang (Tom), whom she married on June 18, 1955, and passed away in August 2020.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, May 10th from 10 am to 11 am at Givnish Funeral Home, 1200 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ with a service at 11 am, followed by internment at First Presbyterian Church, Moorestown, NJ, next to her husband.
