Alma B. Grace's Obituary
Alma B. Grace (née Dooley) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023 at her residence in Delran surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia to James and Alma Dooley, Alma was 93 years old. She was a resident of Delran and formerly of Palmyra. Beloved wife of 69 years to the late John “Jack” Grace, Sr. Loving mother of Barbara Grace, Jack (Elaine) Grace, Kathy (Ed) Walz, James (Kelly) Grace, Diane (Paul) Jakubowski, Anita (Steve) Urian, and the late Michael Grace.
Cherished grandmother to Douglas (Kimberly) Hager, Jennifer Smith, Ryan (Stephanie) Walz, Danielle (Mark) Martino, Chelsea (Troy) Foster, Zach Adams, Tyler Adams, Paige Adams, Brieanne (Stephen) Lloyd, and Taylor Urian. And proud great grandmother of Jackson, Daulton, Lorenzo, Angelo, Izzy and Luke.
Sister of James (Rita) Dooley, the late Raymond (Felicia) Dooley and the late Barbara (Kenneth) Fisher. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. We want to extend a sincere thank you to Tracy Monaghan who helped Alma and became a special family friend.
Alma was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary for many years, where she had made many good friends. She loved the Jersey shore and spent many summers in WildWood. Alma and Jack participated in Perpetual Adoration for 25 years at Resurrection Parish. She loved having a big family and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids celebrating birthdays and holidays. Alma was proud of her Irish heritage. Alma will be remembered for her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, and friends who became family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, January 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church 103 4th Street Riverton, NJ. Alma’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
