Andrew "Andy" Blatz's Obituary
Andrew "Andy" A. Blatz passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2015 with his family at his side. Andy was a resident of Cinnaminson and formerly of Moorestown. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Andy was 87 years old. He was a graduate from Brooklyn Technical High School and Syracuse University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Andy retired as Manager of the Department of Mechanical Engineering from RCA in Moorestown after 30 years of employment. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Andy enjoyed playing golf and was a 50 year member of Riverton Country Club. He served on the Board of Directors there during his time as a member. Beloved husband of 60 years to June E. (nee Johnson). Loving father and father-in-law of Bob and Joanne Blatz of Cinnaminson and Jeffrey and Frederika Blatz of Riverton. Devoted grandpa to Stephanie, Stephen, Eric and Julianna. Brother of Donald Blatz of Dallas, Texas, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Andy's Life Celebration and Gathering Saturday, September 12th, 9-10:15 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike and Pomona Road, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, with Military Honors, will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
