Andrew L. Tomafsky, age 67, of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Louis and Dorothy Tomafsky in Philadelphia, PA. Andrew was a 1965 graduate of Camden Catholic High School; he proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After the Army, he worked as a distributor for the US Postal Service in Bellmawr, NJ. Andrew was an avid turkey and deer hunter who loved spending time with his grandkids.
Andrew is predeceased by his father, Louis W. Tomafsky and brother, James S. Tomafsky.
He is survived by his devoted life partner of almost 30 years, Jackie Stone; his beloved mother Dorothy G. Tomafsky; sons, Andrew J. Tomafsky and Mark Tomafsky (Sarah); Andrew and Mark's mother Linda Rua,, grandchildren, Heather, Gabbi, Natalie, Mollie, Blake, and Ryder; siblings, Christopher Tomafsky (Jackie), Louis “Buddy” Tomafsky (Annemarie), and Mary Romaska (John); as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration Friday, August 7, 2015 from 7pm-9pm at Inglesby Givnish’s of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street and to his funeral Mass, Saturday August 8, 2015, 10:30AM from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Main Street at Fellowship Rd., Maple Shade. Andrew will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Andrew's memory to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, suite 300, Marlton NJ O8053.
