Angie, we have known each other a long time! Like all friendships, there are good times, not so good times, drifting apart, and coming back together again. Today I choose to focus on the good times, the laughter, the time spent together. I choose to remember the times we spent in your room with Carole King's Tapestry on repeat, singing along to every song. We wore that album out and we knew every word. I choose to remember Saturday afternoons spent at the roller skating rink with the cigarettes we pinched from your mom (Kool longs) stuffed into our socks and/or our bras. I choose to remember endless sleepovers. I choose to remember caring for Sandy alongside you as she spent her final days here on earth. We had some good times back in the day, my friend. I hope you are at peace now and you and Sandy are reunited along with your parents and sister. I am so glad that we were able to reconnect a few years ago and we had some time to catch up with one another. You will be missed Angie. Until we all meet again. Godspeed my friend.
