Ann R. Ryan's Obituary
Ann Rose (Beer) Ryan of Moorestown, New Jersey passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday December 5, 2020, at the age of 82.
Ann was born July 6, 1938 in Katymar, Hungary, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Ziel) Beer. In 1950, the family immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School in 1957. She lived in Philadelphia’s Parkwood neighborhood during the 1960’s prior to moving to Delran, New Jersey where she raised her family.
Ann enjoyed her career in Systems Management being employed at Tyco Toys for over 20 years. She went on to work for Saks Fifth Avenue before retiring from Capital Health Hospitals in 2010.
Ann enjoyed an active life of traveling, gardening, and bowling. She loved to cook and bake for her family. She was an avid reader and her favorite vacation spot was the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ.
She is survived by her children Barbara Phipps of Moorestown, Patty Kirk (Robert) of Moorestown, Michael Phipps (Julie) of Pennington, and Theresa Kochuba (Joseph) of Moorestown. She was adored by her six grandchildren, Alec and Emily Phipps, Sean and Sam Kirk, Lacey and Megan Kochuba. She will also be missed by her two granddogs Roxy and Ivy. She was predeceased in death by her son Robert Phipps in 1971.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday December 11th at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St. from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Her funeral mass will follow at St. Charles Borromeo in Cinnaminson at 10:30. Interment will be private. Facial coverings are required and social distancing measures are in effect. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spina Bifida Association http://spinabifidaassociation.org/ways-to-donate.
