Anna M. Dalton's Obituary
Anna M. Dalton (nee Scapellato), a resident of Maple Shade since 1952, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2014.
Anna was the beloved wife of Clarence “Grat” Dalton for 65 years. Loving mother of Anita Dalton-Haggerty and her husband Michael, and the late Carl Dalton. Dear grandmother of Matthew and Michelle Haggerty. Loving sister of Delores Woyko, Lena Ferree, and Joseph Scapellato.
Anna has been a parishioner of OLPH Parish since 1952. She worked at the Naval Base in South Philadelphia and helped to build the PBY Aircraft for the U.S. Coastal Patrol during WWII. She was also a seamstress in Philadelphia for a clothing manufacturing firm. Anna enjoyed making ceramics for many years and enjoyed knitting.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anna’s life celebration and gathering at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., on Tuesday from 9 -10 am. Her funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church, 236 E. Main St. Maple Shade. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Rte, 70 in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s name may be made to St. John of God Community Services, 1145 Delsea Dr., Westville Grove, NJ 08093.
