Anna C. Gentile's Obituary
Anna C. Gentile (nee Puglisi) passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, Anna was 85 years old. She was a resident of Mt. Laurel and formerly of Pennsauken. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late John R. Gentile. Loving mother of the late Mark (Chris) Gentile, Christine (Joe) Flood and Cynthia (David) Zipin. Loving Naun to Daniel (Nicole), the late Andrew, Carly, Shane, Abigail, Madelyn, Taylor, Allison and Lauren. Great grandmother to Aubrey and Dylan. Anna is the last surviving sister of Anthony and John Puglisi.
Anna was employed as secretary for the Philadelphia Schools, retiring in 2000.
Anna was an active member at St. Stephen’s Church in Pennsauken, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a wonderful cook and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 236 N. Fellowship Road Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Entombment we be 1:15 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Anna Gentile, may be made to Alzhiemer’s Foundation alz.org
