Anne Huber's Obituary
Anne Huber (née McQuaide), 74, a cherished longtime resident of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on August 29th, 2024. She was born on February 23, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, to James and Velma McQuaide.
Anne was the devoted wife of the late Walter J. Huber Sr., sharing 52 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2023. She was a loving mother to Patricia Huber, Karen Huber, and Walter J. Huber Jr. (Kelly), and a beloved "Mema" to her grandchildren Taylor, Noah, Oliver, Kiersten, and Ryan. Anne was a dear sister to Mary Cascio, Jim McQuaide (Lois), Jane Hunt, Bill McQuaide (Kim), Kathy Connolly (Rodney), Terri McQuaide, and Fran Flower (Bill). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Together with Walter, Anne proudly raised their family in Cinnaminson. In February 1985, she began her dedicated service as an EMT with the Palmyra Ambulance Association. Anne was also an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary Fire Department for many years. From 1989 to December of 2004 and January 2007 to September 2008, she served as president of the Delran Emergency Squad. In April 29th, 2000, she was awarded outstanding EMT of the year by VFW Post #3020. A passionate educator, she taught CPR and EMT courses and led the Medical Explorers Leaders. Anne was also a faithful volunteer at St. Charles Borromeo Church, where she served in numerous roles, including Eucharistic Minister, carnival food tent volunteer, church greeter, and sacristan.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, September 5th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and again on Friday, September 6th, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Cinnaminson. Burial will be private at Brigadier Wm C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
