I always admired Anne in high school. She was very sweet, approachable and friendly. Rest in peace.

As a jurist Anne was admired for her intellect and pragmatic fairness. Her wry sense of humor was matched by her kindness and compassion. As a human, her genuine interest in people led her to offer her time, encouragement, and assistance to aid those in need. To me, Anne was a mentor and, more importantly, my friend.
I will greatly miss her smile and grace.
My sympathies to Anne’s children, granddaughter, family and friends. I wish you comfort in the lasting memories of her life well-lived.

To the family and friends of Anne McDonnell, my husband and I are saddened to hear of Anne’s passing. We met her when she lived in Clarksboro, she needed help with getting her pool cleaned and ready for the summer. She was so nice and we knew she didn’t have any help, so we took care of her pool every summer doing the weekly maintenance for her, until she sold the place and moved. We kept in touch via phone calls. We will miss her. Prayers to her family and friends. RIP Anne

Anne was so kind and helped inspire me to go into the practice of law. I always knew who she was and looked up to her. When I was considering going to law school, I stopped her on the street one day in Woodbury and introduced myself. I told her of my interest in going to law school, as as well as my apprehensions and fears that I was not up to the task. She was very patient and greatly encouraged me to take that huge career step.. Based in large part on her advice, I did so and was successful in becoming a lawyer. After that and became a friend and was always someone that I greatly admired both professionally and personally. She will be sorely missed by me and so many others who grieve her loss. Prayers for all who are mourning her. Carolyn Uliase
