To Arlene's family,
I am one of Arlene's friends from our sorority from high school. We kind of lost touch the last few years and just found out about her passing yesterday when one of the girls got the Christmas card she sent Arlene back from the postoffice with deceased stamped on it.
Then found her obituary online.
Please accept my deepest sympathy to your family. I can't believe it has been a year and sorry that we didn't know sooner. We lost another one of our girls in January this year, Karen Metrow. Our sorority girls have been friends for 60 years, since we were 15 yrs old.
I hope that as time passes you will be comforted by memories of happy times you shared with her. The video was beautiful.

I always thought of Arlene as my cousin Johnny's best friend and mate - supporting him in everything he ever did, regardless of the outcome. She was so perky and so very pretty. I'm sure she will be made most fulfilled now that she can join her dear husband in all eternity. Rest in peace, Arlene.
