Armand Michael Melograna, Sr.'s Obituary
Armand Michael Melograna, Sr., of Edgewater Park, passed away on March 26, 2016. He was 92 years old.
Armand enlisted in the Air Force in 1940, and retired in 1977, having fought in WWII and Vietnam. He attended Rider University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business. He then went on receive his Master’s degree in Business from Central Michigan University. Armand was the Director of Burlington County Daycare Center for 10 years. He went on to work for the State of NJ as a Financial and Budget Manager, and he also volunteered at the McGuire Air Force Base. Armand took a special interest is music, and loved to listen to opera, sing in the church choir, and play the trombone.
He was the beloved husband of Anna Melograna (nee Polchan) for 63 years. Loving father of John, Armand (Barbara), Victoria (Roger), and Monica (Jamie). Dear grandfather of Jordan, Emily, Julia, Victoria Marie, Lianna, David, Eko, and Dorian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Armand’s life celebration gathering at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N, on Wednesday from 9 – 11 am. His prayer service will begin at 11 am, followed by burial at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Armand’s name may be made to the Beverly Edgewater Park Emergency Squad: Station 129, 703 Melbourne Avenue, Beverly, NJ 08010.
