Arthur Kalman Molnar Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur (Art) Kalman Molnar, Jr., 90, of Cinnaminson, passed away on Thursday January 3, 2019.
Art proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952 as an aircraft mechanic/engine specialist on B-29s. He was based at Yokota Air Base in Japan from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean War.
Art worked for United Airlines for 39 years as an aircraft mechanic/aircraft maintenance foreman. He retired in 1993.
Art enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling, with the beach being one of his favorite destinations. Above all he loved spending quality time with family. He had a huge heart for animals. His true passion was aviation.
Art was a devoted husband to his wife Mary Faith (nee Flynn) of 59 years. Art was a loving father to his children Thomas Molnar (Susan), Karen Klapsogeorge (Jim), Arthur K. Molnar, III (Dawn), Rosemary Halgas (Chris), Mary Ann Tufo (Dominic), and Mary Beth Atkinson (Bob). He was a caring Grandpa to his 10 grandchildren Thomas Jr., Mary Kate, & Kalman Molnar; Anthony (Juae) Molnar; Lauren Molnar; Gianna & Chloe Halgas; Brooke, Brianna, & Robert Atkinson. He is survived by his brother Robert Molnar (Nancy).
A gathering of family and friends for Art will be held at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 route 130 North Cinnaminson NJ, 08077 from 7pm-9pm on Tuesday January 8, 2019 and again on Wednesday January 9, 2019 from 10am-11am. Following Art’s visitation a funeral service will be held starting at 11am. Art’s interment will take place after his funeral service at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
