Austin Siley Panting's Obituary
Austin Siley Panting, age 92, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1932, in Manhattan, NY, to Austin and Sylvia Siley. Austin was the beloved husband of Ann Panting (née Cull) for over 67 years and a devoted father to Lisa Panting. He was a cherished brother to Winston Panting and Carl Panting Sr., and is predeceased by his siblings, Roy Panting and Joyce Panting. Austin will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Jennifer Randall, Carl Panting Jr., Pamela Denison, Dana Panting, Brian Panting, and Scott Panting.
Above all, Austin was a devoted servant of Jehovah, putting his faith first throughout his life. His unwavering dedication guided him and his family, providing a foundation of hope and comfort. In his younger years, he delighted in all things related to miniature models, with a particular love for model trains and airplanes. Austin was an avid bicyclist, often riding from Manhattan to Brooklyn during his early courtship with Ann. He also enjoyed bodybuilding in high school and had a knack for buying and restoring used cars.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 26th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM, with his funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM. HIs service will be livestreamed: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/qBwdIEcUg?pin=287196
Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
