Barbara D. Bensel's Obituary
Barbara D. Bensel (née Marshall) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Cinnaminson Center. Born in Mt. Holly, Barbara was 84 years old. She was a resident of Rancocas for 26 years and Moorestown, NJ. Barbara was a resident at the Cinnaminson Manor for 13 years and was nicknamed “Betty Boop” because she loved the cartoon character.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph Bensel and the late Russell Giberson.
Loving mother of Sherry A. (Jerome) Deacon, Pamela Giberson, the late Russell Giberson, the late Brenda Giberson and the late Robin Reed.
Cherished grandmother of Michael (Michelle), Brandon (Darcy), Chelsey, Shaun and Patricia. Great grandmother of Liliana and Julia.
Sister of Pamela Costello, Robert Marshall and Debbie Ford.
Barbara was a “lunch lady” for the Lenola Elementary School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lenola Fire Department.
Barbara enjoyed playing bingo and especially spending time with her family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
