Barbara Emma Francis Orfe Posch the first (as she always liked to refer to herself) died peacefully after a short illness in her home surrounded by her family on June 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred Read Obituary
With sympathy and caring thoughts of cousin Barbara to all my Orfe cousins and their families. Thinking of you and wishing you comfort in the days ahead. Even though we cannot know exactly where or when, we say good-bye knowing we will surely meet again.

Barbara will always be remembered as "the lady who loved to laugh". She always had a smile for me, was always happy to see me, and I loved to hear her belly laugh when she found something very funny. A memory? As a family, we used to go to Philadelphia for "The String Band Show of Shows". Afterward we would all go to the Delrando diner for a late "snack". Barbara always said we were tipping too much and would try to sneak a five or ten out of the waitress's tip. We all knew she would do it. We always managed to get the money back on the table. We all got a good laugh out of it! We actually waited for her to do it and I think often she did it to entertain us. God bless her.
Aunt Barbara was the best! She was so loving and nurturing. She was also fun! She loved to play games, dance and have a great time. She was a remarkable person and will be missed by so many. I love you Aunt B!
