Bernadette Milke's Obituary
Bernadette Milke, of Westampton, NJ, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2025, at the age of 73. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Douglas and Alice (née Walz) Milke, Bernadette’s life was a reflection of warmth, light, and faith. Her gentle spirit radiated kindness, generosity, and love to all who knew her. With quiet strength and a steadfast outlook, she brought peace and steadiness to those around
her — a calming presence in a restless world.
For 26 years, Bernadette shared a devoted and loving partnership with John Fratantoro, her cherished companion and constant support. She was a deeply loving and supportive mother to Nathaniel Cherubini, and an adoring Nana to Jessica, Nathan, Chase, and Eve — roles she embraced with joy, dedication, and boundless pride. Her family was the center of her heart and the greatest blessing of her life.
Bernadette was beloved by many, not only for her gentle words and warm smile but also for the serenity she carried within her. She had the rare gift of making others feel safe, heard, and cared for. To know her was to experience grace, compassion, and quiet strength — a legacy that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving siblings: Christine Amoroso (Steve), Douglas Milke, Darlene SantaCroce (Joe), Cheryl Milke, Jeanette Francesco (Rick), and Ronald Milke. She was predeceased by her sister Robin Rago and brother Dan Milke (Linda). Bernadette also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends — all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 6, from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. A service will begin at 11:30 am.
