Billy Bradham
I first met Bern at the raleigh flea market at the state fairgrounds around 1974. he had a used record booth & sold mountain crafts;ie, "the supple man that you danced on a board".I would sometimes fill in for him when he was out of town. he wrote poetry & my sister bought some of his 10 page anthologies.i may still have them in a box. as I got to know Bern, I realized he was a man of integrity & purpose.he stocked sealed bluegrass & folk albums & turned me on to gove scribner & other great artists. the last time I saw him was around 1981. I have thought of him often thru the years & looked him up today.i am saddened by his passing, but his spirit lives on.my life is richer because of Bern
