This news broke my heart. Bert crossed my mind today, I was going to surprise visit him at his house in pennsauken, decide to check his Facebook first. Didn’t find his page just this article. I was a month too late. Too know bert was to love him. So honorable and the biggest trash talker. Can someone tell me where’s buried and coordinates? If so. Thank you.
I worked with Bert at Boeing for many years. I learned from him, argued with him, we shared many laughs and stories together, and a friendship. Bert looked out for me as a colleague, as he did so many; always made sure we had the best information to make the right decisions. And even in the chaos that could be present in the work setting I knew how much he loved his family! When Bert retired, he gave me and another colleague (Clint Palmer) a cocktail glass with the Boeing logo and asked us to toast him now and then. Well, my friend I was lucky to know you. Cheers to you in heaven. Yours was a life well lived. A family well loved. If only we could all be so lucky. God Bless!
I met Bert when I first started at Boeing straight out of college. What a great person from whom I learned much. Have lots of good memories from multiple celebrations. He was one of the best. Rest in Peace my friend!

Your smiles, laughter and loving personality will forever live in my heart. You will be missed ❤️ RIP 🙏
Phil, Lisa & Family, so very sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts go back to Strawbridge School days, and my last day as a Saftey Patrol kid. My post was at Cuthbert Road and your mom was the crossing guard ( the best!) She gave me a parting gift: a helicopter model kit that I understood your dad had procured! It was appreciated then, and stands as such a nice memory of both your mom and dad. Our thoughts are with all of you. Glen & Diane Carney
