Betty Chranowski's Obituary
Betty Chranowski (nee McGinty), 82 passed away peacefully on September 23. Loving wife of the late Raymond W. Chranowski. Beloved mother to Raymond Chranowski, Jr. (Laurie) and Steven Chranowski (Denise). Dear grandmother to Tom, Tracy, Steven and Hunter. Betty is survived by sister in laws, Loretta McGinty, Frances Mostaccio and Florence Tymash as well as dozens of wonderful nieces and nephews.
Betty graduated from Frankford High School, class of 1950. She loved being in the color guard and had a lifelong relationship with many of her sorority sisters. Soon after marrying Raymond in 1952, they became permanent residents of Maple Shade. Betty loved crafting, gardening, cooking, and going to the casinos. She was member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for many years. Her true passion was the successful rearing and education of her sons.
Friends and relatives are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration Services on Wednesday, September 30 at Inglesby Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a service following at 10:00 am. Burial will take place immediately following at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association in Betty’s name.
