Betty Orosz's Obituary
Betty Orosz (nee Cahir) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Samaritan Hospice with her family and friends by her side. Betty courageously battled Stage IV Lung Cancer for the past 5 years. Born in Queens, NY, to Thomas and Martha Cahir, Betty was 68 years old. She was a resident of Marlton, NJ since 2000, and formerly lived in Whitestone, NY. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, GiGi, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many. Betty always loved to host a party. Everyone was always welcome, there was always plenty of food and nobody ever wanted to leave. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to concerts, loved traveling to the Bahamas, dancing, being the pirate for her grandsons, and planning events and spontaneous adventures for her family and friends. Betty is survived by her husband Joseph Orosz, her children, Christina (Josh) Hall and Melissa Orosz and grandsons JJ and Jaxon.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, November 4th from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ, 08053.
Betty’s Memorial Service will follow at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to GO2 for Lung Cancer (https://go2.org/) or American Lung Foundation (https://www.lung.org/).
