Betty Mary Zornes' Obituary
Betty Mary Zornes (nee Smith), of Sicklerville, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on October 5, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Sidney and Mary (nee Goulik) Kocinski Smith, she was 88 years old.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Paul Joseph Zornes; loving mother of Deborah Urquhart and her husband Scot of Sicklerville, NJ; cherished grandmother of Ashley LoCosto (C.J.), Jesse Urquhart, and Kenneth Urquhart (Nina); great grandmother of Harper, Grady, Kayden, and Karter. Betty was predeceased by her siblings, James Smith and Dorothy Riggio. She is also survived by her dogs, Dakota, Cydney, Fletcher, Samson, and Cami, as well as nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Betty graduated 8th grade from St. Anthony’s School in Philadelphia on June 9, 1950, and went on to graduate from St. Monica’s Commercial School on June 5, 1952, where she worked for Fr. Farrell. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
