Beverly Virginia Dixon's Obituary
Beverly Virginia Dixon (nee Werst), of Edgewater Park, NJ, previously of Delran and Moorestown, passed away on January 25, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John P. and Virginia (nee Evans) Werst, she was 76 years old.
Affectionately known as “Bev” to those who knew and loved her, she was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Dixon; cherished mother of Jeffrey Dixon (Kate), Holly Dixon (Evan), and Cathy Farino (Vito); loving grandmother of Melissa and Danielle; dear sister of Valerie Emerson (the late Eugene) and Kendall Werst; loving aunt of several nieces and nephews, especially to Kristen and Kelly. Bev is survived by many other extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.
Bev was passionate about all things equestrian and treasured her time showing horses competitively in her years before starting a family. The only thing she cherished more than horses was being a mother. Spending many years cheering for her children at various sporting events, she never missed a game or practice. Bev was always willing to lend an ear to those she loved and was often the first person called when family and friends wanted to share exciting news or challenging life events. She was a tiny lady with a huge heart, and her absence will be felt greatly by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in Miller Commons at the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, located at 101 Bridgeboro Road, on Tuesday, February 4th from 11 am to 1 pm to pay their respects.
Private burial to follow.
