Calvin Connett's Obituary
Calvin G. Connett passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2013, at his residence in Cinnaminson, NJ. Born in Staten Island, NY, Calvin was 93 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1973. Cal was employed as regional manager for Pitney-Bowes for 44 years. He proudly served his country is the US Army during WWII, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, Cal was proud to be an American. Cal was a life long member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Maple Shade. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Martha M. (nee Bonnett). Loving father of Connie (John) McElhinney, Sheryl (Alan) North, Patti (Ron) Florian and Coleen (Dennis) Saggese. Devoted Pop-pop to Sharon (Rafael), Andrew (Leslie), Thomas, Melissa (Stack), Angela (Pat), Jessica (Charles), Catrina, Dominick, Dennis and Demetri. Great Pop-pop to Tyler, Breann, Adeline, Elaina, Summer, Skyla, EmiKate, Kylie, Makinzy and Kaiden. Brother of Herbert Connett, Emily Montgomery, Marion Bonnett and the late Clifford Connett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cal?s Life Celebration and Viewing Monday, May 13th, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Service will follow at 11 A.M. Interment with Military Honors, will follow at NJ Veteran?s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 6 E. Main St. Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
