Carmella M. Abbott's Obituary
Carmella M. Abbott (nee Spada), of Riverside, NJ, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus, her Savior, with her family by her side. Born to the late Dominic and Carmella Spada, she was 96 years old.
Carmella was the beloved wife of the late John J. Abbott Sr.; loving mother of John J. Abbott Jr. (Lorie), Stephen G. Abbott, and David E. Abbott (Catherine); cherished grandmom of Ryan, Christopher (Samantha), Nicole, Jenna, Jolet, and Jadalleine Abbott; great grandmom of Lily, Luke, and Mackenzie Abbott. She was the youngest of 10 siblings who have all predeceased her.
Carmella resided in Myrtle Beach where she was an avid golfer. Her and John had retired to Myrtle Beach and lived there for about 20 years before she moved to NJ. She was also a huge Philadelphia and Boston sports fan. She was a great mom and especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Memorial Mass on Friday, September 20th at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ. Interment will be private.
