Carmen Frank Capece's Obituary
Carmen Frank Capece passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021. Born in Philadelphia to David and Mary Capece, Frank was 76 years old. He was a resident of Medford, NJ, formerly lived in Moorestown, NJ, and enjoyed a second home in Atlantic City, NJ. Beloved husband of Terri (nee Mangano) for 51 years. Loving father of David (Paul) Capece and Joseph Capece. Cherished grandfather of Gia, Luke, and Eva. Loving son of Mary and the late David Capece. Brother of Bill (Aurelia) Capece, David (Lisa) Capece, Robert Capece, and Mary (Kevin) Weinstein.
Frank proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a realtor in the South Jersey area for 51 years. Frank was active in the community including Rotary, Enclave Condominium Board, Medford Mill Condominium Board, and Ocean City Fishing Pier.
Frank was a free spirit who enjoyed spending time with family and friends on vacations, especially cruises. Frank reveled in gatherings in the home while sharing stories over hors d'oeuvres (he loved jumbo shrimp) and cocktails. He was always happiest in the company of others.
Frank learned he would be a recipient of a lung transplant on Christmas Day 2015, and as a survivor became an advocate for others. He was blessed with nearly 6 extra years of life to create new and lasting memories.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 9th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday November 10th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 42 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ.
