Carol J. Giannini's Obituary
Carol Giannini (nee Budnicki), of Mt. Laurel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 27th, 2023. She was 77 years old. She was born in Philadelphia on June 25th, 1945, to the late Frank Budnicki and the late Marie Budnicki (nee Mihovilovich). She was the wife of Pasquale Giannini and beloved mother to Pat Giannini (Donna), Danielle Curreri (Pete), and Nikki Bailey (Michael). Cherished grandmother to Alex, Amanda, Christina, Nicholas, Gianna, Patrick, and Michael. She was the cherished sister to the late David, Marie (Barry), the late Jimmy (Tina), Marty (Sue), and Michele (Michael). She is survived by her many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Carol was a Philly (Mayfair) girl from birth but spent the majority of her adult life in Pennsauken where she raised her family. Carol was a homemaker, a crossing guard, a bartender, a cheerleading coach, a jewelry store manager, but her most important role was mom to her children and her children’s friends. She was one of the most generous people you could come across. She loved hard and laughed equally as much. She was known to do a mean crab impression or give the fickle finger of fate. Her favorite place was at the beach or with her family-ideally both! She will be remembered for her wit, sense of humor, but most of all for her giant heart.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023, at the Church of St. Isaac Jogues located at 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ, 08053. Following the visitation there will be a funeral mass beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
