Carrollann Piazza's Obituary
Carrollann Piazza (nee Butler), a resident of Medford, passed away on November 10th with her family by her side. She was 51. Beloved wife of 19 years of Michael A. Piazza. Dear mother of Melinda Bryan (David), Nicole Piazza and Rachel Piazza. Dear sister of Susan Shaffer, Tammy Shaffer, Milton Butler, Jennifer Butler-Shay (Tim), and Kristen Butler-Cummings (Sean). Dear daughter of E. Milton Butler and Ruthann Fetherman, and Andrea “Hank” Piazza and Marie Piazza.
Carrollann grew up in the Poconos, where her favorite pastimes were visiting her grandmother’s house for homemade fudge and Tang, spending time on Lake Wallenpaupack, and reading books at the local library while sneaking snacks. She went on to attend college at Rutgers University where she studied accounting to later become a successful financial forecaster.
Soon after, she met the love of life and soul mate, Mike, and they were married during a beautiful ceremony in 2002. They spent many years building a beautiful life together with their three daughters, traveling the world, and spending weekends together in the kitchen making their favorite home cooked meals. Carrollann will always be remembered for her larger-than-life personality and the way she could light up any room.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 20th starting 9:30am at Givnish Funeral Home, 398 E. Main Street Marlton, NJ. Sharing stories with family and friends will follow at 11:30am. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations in Carrollann’s name be sent to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd. Voorhees NJ 08043.
