Catharine Marie Allen's Obituary
On Tuesday January 3, 2023 Catharine Marie Allen, loving partner of David W. Allen and wonderful mother of two, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of seventy. Catharine was a graduate of Trenton State College (College of New Jersey) with a Bachelor of Arts and went on to become a Teacher, IT Instructor at Rochester Institute of Technology, a Computer Trainer at various law Firms and, later on, her town Library Director. While attending Trenton State College, she met the love of her life David Allen and was married 3 years after. She is survived by her husband David, her daughter Shayna M. Allen and son Douglas R. Allen (Regina). Catharine is also survived by her brother Daniel (Julie) Schulin and her nephew, Justin Schulin.
Catharine had a deep love of nature which included hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, boating and kayaking.
Catharine has been laid to rest next to her beloved Mother Catherine during a small private ceremony in New Jersey on Friday 13, 2023. In leu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Livingston County Hospice address: 2 Murry Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, New York, 14510
