Catherine G. "Kitty" (née Clancy) passed away peacefully on August 1, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Cinnaminson, NJ, surrounded by her family. Age 83 years. Beloved daughter of Richard and Catherine (nee Kane) Clancy, sister of the late Mary Edgette and Richard "Dick" Clancy Jr.
Kitty was a registered nurse and worked at several hospitals including Nazareth Hospital, Frankford Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and Burdette Tomlin Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late George A. Thompson. Loving mother of George (Colleen), Charles, Richard, Joseph (Donna), Martha Ann (John) Gannon, Kathy (Michael) Larkin, and Mary (Gerry) Clothier.
Devoted Grammy to Casey, Brighid, Daley, Chuck, Jr., Sean, Richard Michael, Katie, the late George, Siobhan, Joe, Morgan, Connor, Terence, Caitlin, John Michael, Colleen, Christine, Clancy, Delaney, Meghan, Gerarde and Colin. Great Grammy to Charlie.
Sister of Claire (Daniel) Lawler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kitty's Life Celebration and viewing Monday 9-10:20 a.m. at St. Timothy Church 3001 Levick St. Phila., PA 19149. Her Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sea Isle City Historic Museum, 4800 Central Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
