Catherine M Wood's Obituary
Catherine M. Wood (née Weber), of Bel Air, MD, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025,
surrounded by her family, at the age of 77. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of
the late Joseph and Catherine (née Lyons) Weber.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Carleton Wood and a devoted mother to Carleton
Wood (Sheri), Kevin Wood (Kelly), and Christopher Wood. She was a cherished grandmother to
Delaney (Jack), Sara, Alex, Julia, Nathan, and Addison. She is also survived by her loving sister,
Sandra Bender, and was predeceased by her sister, Dolores, and brother, Joey.
Catherine will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness and warmth, and her passion
for cooking and education. She had a knack for barking out orders while at the same time
sharing a hug. She fondly thought of herself as the family’s “Queen.”
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 2, at Givnish of Cinnaminson,
1200 Route 130 North, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00
AM, followed by interment at Lakeview Memorial Park (1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson,
NJ 08077).
