Dear Bechtold Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences. I met Charles in Quantico, as he was in my BIRS-49 class. There were five of us from NY, but since he was such a great guy and hailed from NJ, he was an honorary NY classmate. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing him recently, but whenever I did, he always made me laugh. Charles was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
